Main Event Topic: Execution Excellence Among Local St. Louis Projects & 2018 Annual Meeting

Attend a lively panel discussion detailing how local St. Louis projects were executed and how they achieved excellence through best practices.

The panel discussion will be followed by the 2018 Annual meeting unveiling the 2017 Annual Report and the 2018 Strategic Plan. 2018 Board members will also be introduced and volunteer positions will be announced for recruitment.

Meet your Panel for Wednesday 2/21 February Annual Membership Meeting. This will be an exciting Panel Discussion this month. Learn more about complex interesting local projects here in Metro St. Louis region.

Lynette Ormsby

  • Technical Project Manager II at Maritz
  • Dedicated Project Manager – Fostering trust, building teams, and delivering results
  • Personal Interests – Kayaking and Racquetball

Project: File Integrity Monitoring Project

  • Successful implementation within PCI Environment to meet critical timeline for other project dependencies and external Client Agreement
  • Team successfully managed shrinking timeline, budget and communication constraints while delivering requirements on time, under budget, and without sacrificing quality  
  • Panel discussion will include how the team was able to deliver project scope/benefits while using only 10% of initial project budget  

Mark Dinman, PMP

  • Various Project and Program Management Roles at World Wide Technology Asynchrony Labs
  • Enterprise Architecture, Software Engineering and Data Quality Advisory and Assistance Services to the United States Transportation Command at Scott Air Force Base.
  • BA from Brown University and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis

Project: Mobile Field Kit (MFK)

  • The MFK is a tactical situational awareness software platform providing sensor integration and collaboration capabilities.
  • Used by pilot groups within the National Guard Bureau’s CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) Response Enterprise that are focused on CWMD (Combatting Weapons of Mass Destruction) missions. 
  • Involved in capability demonstrations at a number of National Special Security Events, such as the Presidential Debate at Washington University, the Papal Visit in 2015, the Democratic National Convention, and the Presidential Inauguration.  

Kimberly Clark, PMP

  • Vice President, Project Management Office at Maritz

Project: CETUS

  • CETUS was a 6-month initiative with five technical project managers, tackling Maritz’s Cyber Security Center priorities.
  • Multiple Teams of 120+ members across the department were moved to a co-located space, retrofitted for their work, and given all the resources (meals, new software, leader support, etc...) available to be successful.

2018 Annual Meeting Presenter: Venus Patel, PMIMSL President

Venus Patel is President of the PMI Metro St. Louis chapter for 2017-2018. Venus, along with the new board for your chapter, will present the 2017 Annual Report Summary and 2018 Strategic Plan.
