2) What are the duties/responsibilities of your current role? Most of my responsibilities have been training, facilitating, and event planning for ad hoc seminars or training for certification. I am in the process of forming a Community of Practice for trainers and facilitators. |

4) How long have you been volunteering for PMI? 8 years, 5 years Minnesota Chapter, 3 years PMIMSL. |

5) What is your favorite thing about volunteering? My favorite thing about volunteering is developing others while transforming their aspirations to fruition. For example, in a PMP certification class, I love to help students who elect to learn and take on the daunting PMBOK challenge. I love breaking down learning barriers and providing creative learning solutions for testing confidence. And ultimately, seeing students' elated faces when they share their news of passing their exam, even if it’s a simulated test, this warms my heart. |
