PMIMSL connects with the broader St. Louis community through four outreach areas. These are also great places to get involved as a volunteer.
🎓 Academic Outreach
Fostering project management education at local universities and colleges, empowering the next generation of PM professionals.
🏘️ Community Outreach
Collaborating with nonprofits and driving community-impact initiatives, including seasonal campaigns supporting families in need.
🏢 Corporate Outreach
Engaging with St. Louis businesses to strengthen PM expertise across organizations and build partnerships that benefit members and employers alike.
🌱 Youth & Social Impact
Preparing the next generation through programs that teach project management skills and encourage innovative thinking in young people.
PMIMSL launched its first student club at Saint Louis University, giving students hands-on exposure to project management practice, mentorship from working professionals, and a direct connection to the broader PM community in St. Louis. It's part of a global PMI initiative that has already introduced over 1.8 million young people to the profession.
If you work with students, teach at a university, or want to help bring a student club to a new campus, the Academic Outreach team would love to hear from you.

PMIMSL is entirely volunteer-run. Every event, program, and resource you access exists because members contribute their time. Volunteering is also one of the fastest ways to build your network and earn PDUs.
