Main Event: Organizational Disruptions affect lives, roles, and relationships. Using first-hand experience, our panelists will explore both the lessons learned and the cooperative vision needed for BAs, PMs, and QAs to survive and thrive during organizational-level disruptions.

 Steve Madden is Charter Communications’ VP of Information Technology for the Business, Business and Process Human Factors Analysis, QA testing, and Release Management for enterprise IT organization. He provides the management, direction, and development for multiple business analysis teams in service provisioning & activation, portals & desktop applications, data management platforms, and enterprise resource platforms.

In addition to the business and process analysis, he also direct the activities of the enterprise IT testing organization and is responsible for development, methods, and practices for requirements, process, and user interface modeling. Steve also oversees the development, implementation and ongoing use of the Application Portfolio and Requirement Management Systems for Charter Communications IT organization. Steve has been with Charter in IT Management, Architecture, and Direction capacities since 2001.

 Matt Bowers is a Senior Business Solution Consultant, Client Engagement Executive, Customer Experience Executive and Solution Architect. Strategic and Innovative Business and Information Technology Professional. Specializes in leading and delivering Business Innovation through Digital Transformation, and Disruptive Technologies. Specializing in the application of contemporary technologies to solve complex business problems. For the last 15 years, Mr. Bowers has focused on helping businesses realize ROI, TCO and value from their technology investments, as well as the application of disruptive technologies to achieve digital transformation.

Matt is very passionate about helping organizations make the connection between technology and realized business value, as well as helping IT leaders bridge the gap between IT and business, through facilitating the alignment of IT to business strategy.

 Kimberley Smith, CBAP, CSM is a Senior Consultant and Business Architect at Daugherty Business Solutions with over 20 years of experience in financial, technical and government consulting. Kimberley has also worked as a Statistician, Corporate Cost Accountant, Event Manager, Project Manager and Trade Analyst and for companies such as KPMG, EDS, Express Scripts, and the Department of Commerce.

Kimberley holds an MBA from The George Washington University in International Business and Finance, MS in Training and Performance Improvement from Capella, and BAs in Political Science and Foreign Languages from Radford. Kim recently presented at the 2017 IIBA Business Analysis Development Day (StL-BADD) on Data Science and how we as Analysts and Architects can help solve problems, predict outcomes, and be a vital part of the Data Science World.

 David Hanes is a Manager at Daugherty Business  Solutions with 25 years of experience in a wide   rangeof industries including banking, health care,   andcommunications. He is a certified Project  Management Professional (PMP), Certified  ScrumProfessional (CSP), certified in Scaled Agile  Framework (SAFe) and recently earned his  certification as an  Agile Facilitator and Coach from  ICAgile (ICP-ATF, ICP-ACC).

David holds a Masters from Webster University in Information Technology Management where he graduated with honors.  David has served as a change agent in Agile transformations for both small and large organizations.  He currently is consulting at a top communications company as a Senior Project Manager, Scrum Master, and Agile Coach.
