Name: Tracy Comer |
1) How long did you serve? 6 years. |
2) How did you hear about and become involved in PMI? I didn’t hear about PMI until a couple of years after I had left the Army. After I left the Army, transitioned into a civilian job within the United States government doing something similar to what I had been doing on Active Duty for Military Medicine. Then, I went to work in a private consulting firm still affiliated with Military Medicine but where I could work on different projects and have some additional professional development opportunities. This company needed project managers in addition to some of the other skill sets and military experience I possessed. I pursued my PMP and earned it in September 2016, just after a year of starting with my new company and I have been leading projects ever since. |
