We are proud to announce the winners of this year's PMIMSL Chapter Scholarships. Ananda Jayaraman, ME PMP; Alexia Prudencio and Gospel Ajibade. These three individuals have demonstrated exceptional dedication and potential in the field of project management. Their achievements are a testament to the talent and commitment present within our community. We look forward to following their progress after their studies are completed.

PMIMSL Board Elections and Bylaws Update

We will open our election process for 2026-2027 Board members in September and also vote to update our bylaws. You may wish to consider ‘whitelisting’ the domain Votenet.com and eBallot.com. Here’s a blog about whitelisting: https://clean.email/blog/email-security/how-to-whitelist-an-email. Your participation in this process is crucial to shaping the leadership and direction of our chapter.

September Events Overview

This month we bring back a popular event: Speed Mentoring! Join PMIMSL for an exciting evening on Wednesday, September 10th from 5:30 to 8:00pm at Urban Chestnut in The Grove. Whether you're just starting out or a seasoned project leader, this fast-paced, high-energy event is a unique opportunity to connect with fellow project, program, and portfolio managers from across industries. The night kicks off with networking and complimentary food (cash bar available), followed by a series of structured mentoring rounds where you’ll have the chance to both give and receive insights on a variety of project management topics. Space is limited, and advanced registration is required.

Join us on September 20 for: Project Management for Purpose: A Day of Nonprofit Empowerment. A day dedicated to helping Nonprofits benefit from Project Management skills! If you have a passion for helping nonprofits meet their challenges, then this day is calling your name! A virtual event you won’t want to miss on September 25: Sustainable Practices for Project Managers. Engage with Sarah Maurizi as she helps to bridge critical knowledge gaps across all levels of an organization, enabling cross-functional teams to embed sustainable and resilient practices into core business models.

I encourage each of you to participate in these events, as they are designed to enhance your professional journey and strengthen our community. Your involvement is what makes our chapter vibrant and successful. And there’s more to come in the following months!

Thank you for your continued support and dedication. I look forward to seeing you at our events and working together to advance our shared goals.

Warm regards,

Theresa Luebcke
