Dr. Barcus C. Jackson is a senior technology executive, cybersecurity leader, and higher education faculty member with more than twenty-three years of experience driving digital transformation across nonprofit, academic, and public-sector organizations. His leadership roles have included Executive Director of Technology and Innovation, Associate Vice Chancellor of Information Technology, Chief Information Officer, and Director of Simulation and Instructional Technology.

Dr. Jackson holds multiple advanced degrees — including a Doctor of Computer Science, a Doctor of Education, and an MBA — and maintains industry-leading certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CSXP, CISA, PMP, and ITIL. As an adjunct professor, he teaches cybersecurity and information technology at both undergraduate and graduate levels, bringing real-world insights from enterprise systems, cloud strategy, data governance, and organizational change.

His expertise bridges technology, risk management, and human-centered leadership, making him uniquely equipped to guide project managers through the complexities of AI adoption and implementation.
