Pivot Point Collective: Tyler Norman - Building Your Personal Brand (virtual)

The PMIMSL Pivot Point Collective is a peer-driven community created to support project professionals as they navigate career transitions. Whether you are exploring a new role, shifting industries, or re-entering the job market, this group provides a collaborative environment to share experiences, gain practical advice, and build meaningful connections.

Through facilitated discussions, peer learning, and occasional expert insights, members have access to resources and perspectives that help them move forward with confidence.

Meetings are informal and supportive so come as you are, ready to participate and engage with fellow project professionals who share your journey.

Some of the events will be in person and some will be virtual. The team will decide which ones will be in person.

In this highly-interaction session we’ll discuss establishing and cultivating a personal brand as an expert, leveraging that brand for career development, and avoiding many of the common pitfalls that can come with personal brand building. Attendees will complete a few key elements of the "Build Your Personal Brand From Scratch" Canvas and leave with a template and instructions to build upon their momentum.

Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to:

establish themselves or further grow their brand as an expert and asset to potential hiring managers
leverage the value of their personal brand for maximum personal or organizational benefit while avoiding potential risks and pitfalls

Speaker Bio:

Tyler Norman, MBA, is a global program leader, keynote speaker, board member, and serial mentor with over 16 years of driving strategic results. As Director of Strategic Supply Chain Programs at Scholastic Inc., he leads initiatives that deliver measurable value (and children's books) worldwide.
