Having project management skills isn’t enough—you also need to make it easy for hiring managers to understand where you fit. In this hands-on session, you’ll turn your experience into a clear project story, define your unique PM identity, and create a positioning statement you can use on LinkedIn, your résumé, and in interviews.

By the end of this session, you’ll be able to:
Find the strongest project examples hidden within your previous experience.
Turn a project into a clear story that shows the problem, your actions, and the results you delivered.
Create a specific PM positioning statement that tells recruiters what you do and where you fit.

The PMIMSL Pivot Point Collective is a peer-driven community created to support project professionals as they navigate career transitions. Whether you are exploring a new role, shifting industries, or re-entering the job market, this group provides a collaborative environment to share experiences, gain practical advice, and build meaningful connections.
